Here are a few pictures of our lovely new puppy Keeno an English Bull Terrier at 8 weeks old.

Name Change

I can't believe that it is the 1st June today and the last time I was here was in February.

I have changed my name to something more 'suitable' as I think my other name scared off some people!

It's been a long time .....

It's been a long time, but I have finally updated my blog with some of the things I have made. Hopefully it will not be as long until the next post!

Our beautiful Jodie Bear

Sadly we lost our beautiful Jodie Bear on the 7th January. She was a lovely white long haired German Shepherd and our loyal campanion for 13.5 years

Snow In the midnight garden

Couldn't resist putting on a picture of the six or so inches of snow we had this year. The rest of the country had loads, but this is about the most we had!

Emerald Towel Cake

To go with the bookatrix card for my Mum and Dad for their emerald wedding anniversary - due to a slight shortage of funds, I couldn't afford real emeralds, so I made a 'emerald' towel cake! I used two green bath sheet towels on the bottom layer as for some reason, I couldn't find any the exact emerald colour I wanted and I used two white hand towels to contast on the top layer. The flowers were from a single silk spray that I cut up and placed around the bale. I used a wide gold ribbon around the towels. Mum and Dad thought it looked so good they still have it on display!

Then wrapped in cellophane and tied with some gold curly ribbon. I thought it looked stunning!









I really enjoyed making this and will definately be making more!
