Emerald Anniversary

On the 27th December it was our Mum and Dad's 55th Wedding Anniversary and I made an special Bookatrix card for them.

I used cream cardstock and emerald green mirra card with gold ribbo, lettering and outlines stickers.

I lined the inside of the box with some gold lacy paper.

The lid of the box has an acetate cut out allowing you to see inside the box, with just a few gold outline circles.

My First Towel Cake

This is the firzt towel cake I ever made, I thought I would start small with a single layer one. Made simply with pink towels, with strawberry body lotion hidden inside.

I can't believe how easy they are to make!

Meet Scholes and Psycho

These are our two 'Winnie Pigs' (Guinea Pigs) Scholes the ginger and white one and Psycho is the black one.

Scholes is the youngest but he is so big he is the size of a small rabbit.

Christmas Hamper

This is just one of the hampers I made for Christmas last year.

Santas Grotto!

These are some of the cushion covers I 'made' last year - I bought lots of Santa sacks from Poundland and popped my existing cushions in them.

I did actually do some sewing on the Christmas throw rug, which is behind the cushions. I bought a cheap throw blanket from Primark and then used a sewing machine to stich some christmas images on.

Advent Calendar

I am very proud of this advent calendar made from matchboxes.

Made with blue papers which you can't really see very well in the photos, covered with chipboard christmas greeting bought from Poundland. I used snowflake brads for the handles on the drawers and lots and lots of dst.

It did take a while to do, but a lot of that was from the painting and drying of the individual matchboxes, although I did cheat and didn't paint the inside of the drawers!

I put a mini chocolate bar from a well known variety pack in each numbered drawer and two in for the 24th!

Bookatirx Card

This is my very first Bookatrix Card.

I made for a friend of my Sister. It was not as hard to make as I thought, although fairly simple it looked really stunning.

I also made the display box for it to go in
